We provide 911 Emergency Response and prearranged medical transports for Wellman residents and our service area.
Our primary service district is the City of Wellman and the surrounding area. We also help our neighbors in Iowa County, Johnson County, and throughout the region. We also provide on-site emergency medical support to Parkview Manor Assisted Living, and at community venues such as Parkside Activities Center, and the Wellman Quad County Pork Festival, just to name a few.
Each year we respond to over 100+ emergency calls. In order to meet the needs of our community and surrounding areas, we need your help.
If you're interested in getting a CPR card, becoming an Emergency Medical Responder, an EMT, or a Paramedic, then joining the Wellman Volunteer Ambulance Corps will greatly help you and our community.
Members in good standing will get their tuition to the EMT training course fully reimbursed, as well as further education to keep your certification up to date.
Are you going to a Community College? Need help earning intern credits for an Associate's Degree? By working as a volunteer EMT, you will gain priceless, real-world knowledge about pre-hospital medical and trauma patient care.
